今日は定休日でしたので、歯医者に行きました。
歯が欠けたため通ってたのですが、今日が最終回でした。
歯医者の最終回のお決まりは、歯石をとってもらうのと、歯みがきの仕方の講習です。
４５年生きてきて、いまから歯みがきの仕方を教わるって・・・(+_+)
で、まず、
「いつものようにブラッシングしてみてください」
と言うので、やってみたら、
「力いれすぎですね」
僕がやり方はゴシゴシなのですが、正しいやり方はかるくシャカシャカなのだそうです。
歯科衛生士の女性のレッスンどおりに、かる～くシャカシャカやってみるんですけど、
「まだ力いれすぎですね」
とダメ出し(T_T)
何度かやり直しして、ようやく、
「まだ力いれすぎですけど、だいぶ良くなってきましたね」
僕の感覚では、歯みがきは前歯、奥歯右左、歯の裏側の３エリアみがきなんですけど、歯科衛生士さんはこうおっしゃいました（←今日何度もレッスンしてもらったので、急きょ敬語で）
「歯は１本づつ、ちゃんと歯ブラシがうまくあたってるか意識してみがいてください」
ゆっくりとていねいに１本１本やってみると、それはそれは時間がかかる・・・。
「歯みがきって、けっこう時間かかりますねぇ」
そう聞くと、
「はい。最低１０分はかかりますよ」
え？
１０分？
１０分って、僕の場合、食事してる時間より長いです(*_*）
しかし、１日３回、しかも僕は１回の歯みがきの際に、まず、
歯ブラシに水だけつけてみがき→そのあとに歯みがき粉をつけてみがき→最後に液体のリステリン的なものをふくんでみがき、
の３みがきをしていたのに、歯医者の先生に、
「よくみがけてないので、もうちょっとちゃんとみがいてください」って(;´Д｀)
いったいぼくがしていたこだわりの３みがきは何だったのでしょうか？（涙）
診察の最後に僕は歯科衛生士さんにこう言いました。
「歯みがきってムズカシイですね」
今日から、寝る前の歯みがきだけでも１０分したいと思います。
