続報、５月限定セロリ餃子 ― 2017年05月07日 14:04
販売して約１週間が過ぎた・・・
5月限定、セロリ餃子 ３２０円
ですが、
予想していたとおり、普段からセロリを食べない人は注文せず、セロリが好きだったり、苦手ではない方は注文してくれる・・・といった感じです(^-^)
そして、注文してくれた約半数の方が、追加注文してくれたり、次回もリピート注文してくれてます。
月替わりの餃子というものは、大ヒットしなくてもいいので、ちょっと変わったものがいいだろうと思っておりますので、今回のセロリ餃子はまあまあの好結果だと、自己満足しております(*´ω｀*)

ここからは、いつもの雑談なのですが、
いつもはおもしろバカバカしいをテーマに、雑文を書いているのですけど、
今日は真面目なしんみりとした話をしたいと思います。
しかも、ちょっと長くなります。それでもいいと思う方は、良かったら読んでみてください。
今朝、ラジオを聴いていたら、宮崎出身の写真家の話をしていて、その内容は、
その写真家が、宮崎に暮すとあるおばあちゃんとその孫の日常の生活の様子を写した写真展を開催している、
というものでした。
ぼくは宮崎出身ですので、
〈ふむふむ、なになに・・・〉
と、ラジオを傾聴しました。
祖母と孫のハートウォーミングな内容を予想していたら、話は意外で衝撃的な展開になり、ぼくは絶句してしまい、すぐさまネットで関連記事を検索しました。
その記事の内容を、簡単にご説明します。
宮崎の片田舎に暮す、１９２８年生まれの祖母と、１９９０年生まれの孫（大輝さん）がいました。
大輝さんは両親が多忙なため、祖母とずっとふたりで暮していました。祖母は孫の大輝さんを愛し、大輝さんは自分なりに祖母を支えて生活していました。
七五三も、小学校の入学式も、運動会も、いつでもふたりはいっしょで、ふたりの思い出はつねに共有できるものになっていました。
「僕はばあちゃんの愛情を浴びるように受けて育ったから、ばあちゃんが死ぬまで僕が面倒みるのは当たり前だと思っている」
大輝さんはそう言っていたそうです。
大輝さんはその言葉通り、大学生になっても祖母の家から大学に通いつづけました。大学では看護を学んでいました。
写真家の吉田亮人さんは、大輝さんの従兄弟で、大輝さんと自分の祖母の日常を写真という記録に残しながら、
そう遠くない未来に、祖母の死別という形でこの記録を終了することになるのだろうと、漠然とそう思っていました。
祖母の死を大輝さんがどう乗り越えて生きていくのか、そこまでを追った作品にしたいと、吉田亮人さんは考えていました。
買い物をするふたり
２０１４年の２月、吉田亮人さんが祖母の家に行くと、祖母がぼんやりと窓辺を見ていました。
「あれ、帰ってこんとよねぇ。バイクで行ったきり、帰ってこんわ」
大輝さんは突然、失踪したのです。
誰にも何も告げずに、大輝さんは姿を消しました。連絡はいっさいとれません。
祖母は、
毎日、毎日、大輝さんの帰りを待っていました。
それから約１年後・・・
大輝さんは帰らぬ姿となって森の中で発見されました。享年２３歳のことでした。
それを知った祖母は腑抜けのようになり、
「生きている意味がない」
と毎日のようにつぶやき、翌年に他界したそうです。
『ばあちゃん いつもありがとうね 元気でいないよ』
これが、大輝さんが祖母に言った最後の言葉でした。
《元気でいないよ》というのは、宮崎の方言で《元気でいてよ》という意味です。
ネットの記事を読み、写真を見ながら、ぼくは涙がとまりませんでした。
大輝さんは何に失望し、悲観し、絶望に至ったのだろうと、知る由もないことを考え、
最愛の孫を、これ以上はない悲しい結末で失った祖母の心中を想いました。
大輝さんの失踪に前触れはなかったそうですが、
前触れがないというのは、誰にも語らなかっただけで、本人にしてみれば絶望に至るまでの過程は必ずあります。いきなり絶望には至りません。
どんな人にでも悩みがあり、時には失望し、悲嘆に暮れたりもします。
ぼくは思うのですが、そんなときは誰かに話すべきだと思います。問題が解決しなくても、誰かに話すだけで、誰かに聞いてもらうだけで、人はちょっとだけ救われるからです。
もちろん、ぼくもそうして救われています。
大輝さんは、きっとやさしく真面目な人だったんだと思います。その早すぎる死は残念ですが、彼が祖母と共有した思い出は、ふたりにとって永遠に消えることはありません。
大輝さんとその最愛の祖母のご冥福をお祈りします。
最後になりますが、このふたりの日常を記録した写真家吉田亮人さんの作品名は『Falling Leaves』と言います。
