上野動物園と言えば、人気沸騰中の赤ちゃんパンダ『シャンシャン』が思い浮かぶことでしょうが、
知ってましたか？
上野動物園では先日の１０月９日に、ニシゴリラのモモコに赤ちゃんが誕生していたことを。
モモコと赤ちゃんゴリラ
この赤ちゃんにはお姉さんがおり、コモモ（７歳）とモモカ（４歳）という名前ですので、おそらくこの赤ちゃんの名前にも《モモ》が付くことでしょう(^-^)
今日はモモコに赤ちゃんが誕生したことを祝して、ゴリラ雑学のお話をしたいと思います。
ゴリラの血液型はもれなくB型なのはけっこう有名ですが、
ゴリラが胸を叩くドラミングは、どれぐらい先まで聞こえると思います？
正解は、成人したオスのゴリラなら２キロ先まで聞こえるそうです＼(◎o◎)／
２キロ先までって言ったら、我が町新田で言うなら、隣の駅まで聞こえてるってことですからね。ゴリラのドラミングの音量すごすぎです！
ゴリラがドラミングをしていると、
〈うわっ、怒ってるわ～～〉
と思いがちですが、
実際はゴリラは怒ってるからドラミングをしているわけではないそうです。ドラミングをするのは、
相手のゴリラと闘わずにすむように交渉していたり、
仲間に自分の位置を知らせるためだったり、
自身の興奮を抑えたり、気持ちを静めるためだったりするんですって。
怒ってるのとは間逆な理由ですね、これは。
〈あ～、イライラするな～！ よし、ドラミングして落ち着こう♪〉
こんな感じなのでしょうかね(*´ｰ`)
あと、これは、飲食店のサイトには不適切な雑学かもしれないですが（笑）、ゴリラは糞を投げるという行動をすることがあります。
〈糞を投げつけるなんて、よっぽど怒ってるんだな・・・〉
普通、そう思いますよね。ですが、これまた間逆で、糞を投げつけるのはゴリラの求愛行動のひとつなんですって(＠_＠;)
だから、もしアナタが動物園でゴリラから糞を投げつけられたら、よっぽど気に入られたと思ってよろこんでください。
けっして、
「くそ～、糞を投げつけやがって・・・」
なんて憤慨しないでくださいね(*´∀｀*)
