今日の雑談は、今回のブログタイトルの・・・
このドラマについてです。
映画版は観たことがあったのですが、ドラマ版は観ていなかったのです。
映画と違って連続ドラマは、じっくりとふたりの気持ちや周囲の人々の心情を描写しているので、感情移入しやすく、大いに泣かされてしまいました(ﾉдヽ)
ふたりとも若い！
高校生のときに《最愛同士》となったふたりの、淡くせつない物語。
知っていると思いますが、亜紀（綾瀬はるか）は白血病で亡くなってしまい、サク（山田孝之）はその後１７年間も亜紀の死というダメージを引きずりつづけ、そして・・・というお話。
ドラマの後半、そう遠くない亜紀の死を認識していたサクが、自分より生まれ月が早い亜紀のことを、こう思うシーンがあります。
〈そうだ。ぼくは亜紀のいる世界に生まれてきたんだ・・・〉
亜紀こそが自分のすべてで、それは自分が生まれて来たときからすでに決まっていた。だから亜紀のいない世界なんて、それは自分のいるべき世界ではない・・・。
サクの亜紀への想いを象徴するシーンなのですが、
ぼくの妻も、ぼくより先にこの世に生まれてきています。そしてもしぼくが、このサクのようなことを妻に言おうものなら、
「ちょっと、マジ気持ち悪いからやめて・・・ヽ(*´Д｀*)ﾉ」
きっとそう、言われてしまうでしょう(lll￣□￣)
ですが、ドラマでは、
亜紀が亡くなったあとの回想シーンで、生前の、もう話すのもやっとな状態の亜紀が、力をふりしぼってこうつぶやくシーンがあります。
「待ってたのよ、私は。サクのいない世界で、ずっとサクを待ってたの」
いいですね、こういうの。キュンとなりますね(*´ｰ`)
このドラマタイトルにある《世界の中心》というのは、オーストラリアのエアーズロックのことです。
エアーズロック（周囲9.4キロ。高さ３４０m）
亜紀が読んだアボリジニの本に、エアーズロックが彼らにとっての聖地であり、世界の中心だと考えられているという記述があったからです。
亜紀はここに行って、ここから青い空を眺めてみたいと思っていたのですが、それは叶わずに他界してしまい、その代わりに残された者で亜紀の遺骨をここで散骨しようとします。
そのエアーズロックなのですが、じつは地表に見えているのは全体の約１０分の１で、
１０分の９は地中に隠れています＼(◎o◎)／
しかも、世界最大の一枚岩はこのエアーズロックだと思っている方も多いと思いますが、実際は同じオーストラリアにあるマウント・オーガスタスが世界最大で、その大きさはエアーズロックの2.5倍もあります＼(◎o◎)／
ちなみに、
このエアーズロックのことは、アボリジニたちは《ウルル》と昔も今も読んでいます。
エアーズロックと名付けたのは１９世紀に入ってオーストラリアに進出してきたヨーロッパ人で、エアーズロックの《エアー》は空気を意味するのかと思いきや、当時の南オーストラリア植民地の首相だったヘンリー・エアーズの名前からなんです。
え～～(lll￣□￣)でしょ。
エアーズロックのほとんどは地中に隠れており、
実際は世界で１番目ではなく２番目の大きさの一枚岩であり、
その名称は先住民を虐げて植民地化した首相の名前だったという、
思わず涙がウルウルしてしまう、意外なウルル（エアーズロック）の雑学でしたぁ。
