今日の日替わり料理は、トマトサラダなんですけど、日向夏ドレッシングをかけているのが、特選なんです。
トマトサラダ（玉ねぎ日向夏ドレッシング） ２００円
日向夏とは、ぼくの郷里の宮崎県名産の夏みかんで、りんごをむくように包丁で皮をむいて食べるのですが、そのときに黄色い外皮の内側の白い部分を残したままむくのがポイントで、
こうやってそぎ切りにして食べます。
果肉の部分はさっぱりとした酸味があり、白い部分にはほのかな甘みがあるというめずらしい夏みかんで、毎年おふくろが送ってくれるので、そのときいらしたお客さんにもサービスでだしたりもしています。
その日向夏はドレッシングにも加工されているので、今日はそれをトマトにかけてのご提供なんです(^o^)／
さて、
今日4月１７日は『なすび記念日』（冬春なす主産県協議会が制定）です。
4月１７日が《よいなす》の語呂合わせなのと、なすが好物だった徳川家康の命日が今日であることからの記念日制定なのですが、
人を罵倒するときに使う、
「この、ボケなす！」
という、人なのにダメななす呼ばわりした言葉がありますが、
これはどうして《なす》なのかを今日はご説明します。
ボケなすというのは、色のあせてツヤのないなすびのことなのですが、
なすというのは、あまり手をかけなくても育つ野菜で、逆に手をかけすぎる（環境を整えすぎる）と、実をつけなくなることがあるため、このことから、
甘やかされて育ったせいで何もできない人
のことを《ボケなす》と揶揄しているわけです。
というわけで、
甘やかされてもないのに何もできない人は、《ボケなす》に該当しませんので、
ぼくは《ボケなす》ではありません（笑）
あ、なすと言えば、
なすピーこと、
なすピーマン焼き ２３０円
